The last of the summer cherries
Had Clint and Rob over for dinner last night since Clint has offered to do something very generous to help me with my food photography.
They brought a perfect Syrrah, which I can’t quite remember the name of.
Started off with Venison Sausage wrapped in Puff pastry.
Sat down to Lamb chops with a mint and garlic gremulata with kalamata mashed potatoes, sauteed broccolini on a crisped crouton fried in the lamb fat.
Let them relax into a salad of mixed greens, rasberries and manchego.
They were beginging to mutter about getting full so I kept the portions of the Lemon Soufflee with Creme Fraiche to a minimum.
A nice evening.
