Trim and wash I bunch of asparagus. Spread in one later on a baking sheet.
Zest and juice 1 large blood orange. Reserve the zest separately from the juice.
Mix the juice with olive oil to form a 2:1 ratio of juice to oil. Mix in salt and pepper and pour over the asparagus and coat evenly.
Roast at 350 for 10 to 15 minutes or until al dente.
Arrange for serving and sprinkle zest over the asparagus.
